SuG unveils new info on their upcoming single, “☆Gimme Gimme☆”
Visual Kei band SuG has just revealed some new information on their upcoming single, “☆Gimme Gimme☆”!
The single will be released on June 15th and will come in three different versions: ‘Limited Edition A (CD+DVD)’, ‘Limited Edition B (CD+DVD)’, and a regular version (CD-only).
The title track has already been claimed as the theme song to the upcoming movie, “Pole Dancing Boys”, and is said to be a catchy tune with SuG’s characteristic pop sound. Fans who purchase the regular version of the single will receive one of ten random trading cards of the members.

Iiiii 
Imi plac muuult! Mai ales ca-i ascult de curand si melodia mea preferata e Love scream party
Preferatul meu e Takeru si mie-mi place cum ii sta cu roz, cred ca-l susține cel mai bine. Oricum, tipii astia imi aduc aminte de An Cafe, cu melodiile lor veselee Cand esti trist,e bine sa le asculti melodiile ^_^

On October 7th, 2012, SuG announced they would officially leave PSC after their performance on December 29th at Yoyogi Kyougijou Daini Taikukan, resulting in a temporary hiatus.

I’d like to know what you guys were up to in your private lives during your hiatus. First tell me about what you started during your hiatus.
Chiyu: I started bass vocals. Aside from that, I started playing bass as a backing band member for other acts.
Yuji: I started a home garden! I started with tomatoes, daikon radishes, and carrots.
Masato: I went on a solo trip. It was a great experience, so I want to go again.
――Where did you go?
Masato: I went to Izumo Taisha, Fukuoka, Nagasaki, and Kumamoto.
――Your choices, like Izumo Taisha, are like that of a girl’s.
Masato: But the travel route is very manly. I got up early and took the bullet train to Shimane. That evening, I took the high-speed out of Shimane.
Chiyu: That’s a Bangya (female visual-kei fan) expedition!
Yuji: The result was that the travel route was also girly (laughs).
Masato: And I just ate the best local foods.
Takeru: It’s not just the travel route, everything is girly (all laugh). I have no idea why hopping on a bullet train is manly.
Chiyu: It would be manly if you said you went on a bike or you hitchhiked.
Masato: No no. I thought the daytrip aspect was manly.
Takeru: Girls do that too (laughs).
Masato: This was my first solo trip, so in my mind, I wanted to do it as quickly as possible.
Takeru: You thought it was manly…
Shinpei, Chiyu, Yuji: But it was girly (huge laughs).
Manager: I would get messages in real time that said, “I am here now”.
Takeru, Shinpei, Chiyu, Yuji: You’re a girl!!!!!! (huge laughter)
Takeru: Your girl power is no joke.
Masato: But it was fun, so I want to go again.
Takeru: It’s very insignificant but, I started cooking rice in a stone pot. I threw away my electric rice cooker so that there is no going back.
Shinpei: I don’t understand why you had to go that far!
Takeru: If I had an electric rice cooker, I’d use it.
Shinpei: What’s wrong with using one (laughs)?
Takeru: No no. When I moved, I went out of my way to throw away the electric rice cooker.
Chiyu: As a result, you no longer make rice.
Takeru: No. I made a lot of rice. I spent so much time in front of that stone bowl (laughs). I made seasoned rice and and even fish rice.
Shinpei: I started Twitter.
――Did you get hooked on anything?
Chiyu: Karaoke! High-tone karaoke. From Maki Ohguro to Hibari Misora
Yuji: Carbonated water. I buy them bulk by the carton.
――What about “AIBO”, the drama?
Yuji: Watching “AIBO” has become a daily thing.
Masato: On that subject, I got hooked on the drama, “AMACHAN”.
Takeru: You’re girly there too (smiles).
Chiyu: You became “AMA-Los”?
Masato: That was ok.
Takeru: I got into comics and TV. I bought a TV when I moved, so now I watch TV. I read a lot of old comics.
Shinpei: I’m so into Twitter. For example, if SuG announces something, “SuG” becomes a trend. The fact that people talk about us that much and that the echoes are in real time is amazing to me.
――So what did you quit?
Chiyu: I quit my motorcycle. I don't feel like riding anymore.
Yuji: I started a home garden, but there was no direct sunlight so they didn’t grow. I quit that.
Masato: Something I quit…?
Shinpei: Just say, “I quit being a man” (all laughs).
Masato: I didn’t quit anything.
Takeru: I quit my stone rice pot.
Shinpei: I don’t drink, but I like the vibe, so I go out with my friends. My friends would say, “You do music and stuff, so you should mess around more.” With girls and such.
Chiyu: What!? So you started messing around with girls?
Shinpei: I thought about it, but quit (laughs).
Masato: You quit before you started. I see.
■We all had the same goal to get back together.
■We had some insecure times, but we confronted them
――I’m really glad all five of you got back together here without anybody ducking out.
Chiyu: That’s because we all agreed to reunite after taking a break.
Masato: That’s before the hiatus. If we talked about it during the hiatus, who knows what would have happened.
Shinpei: Fans waited even when we wanted to come back. We couldn’t have come back without that support. Our supporters were a huge thing for us.
――Were you ever afraid that people would forget about SuG during your hiatus?
Masato: Of course we did. Every time I would get up on stage by myself, I’d think, “I haven’t been forgotten yet.” Then I’d think about how I couldn't wait to get back on stage with SuG.
――What was the SuG Los syndrome like?
Takeru: The feeling of emptiness was no joke.
Shinpei: Like there was no ground.
Takeru: Yes! I didn’t know what to do. No matter what I did, it was not fun. So I didn’t feel like doing anything.
Chiyu: I’m from the country, so that feeling of “Why am I here in Tokyo?” was no joke.
Takeru: The insecurity of living alone was no joke.
Chiyu: It’s no joke. There is no label, so there is no income either. No dreams, no money…
Takeru: I was insecure when I was at home by myself. I seriously wanted to buy a cat! Also, I really wanted to play with other people’s kids too.
Chiyu: I understand!
Shinpei: We all had the same goal to get back together. We had some insecure times, but we confronted them.
――Also in SuG’s case, we got more attention while were on hiatus. It felt like we got more popular on hiatus.
Shinpei: There were people who started following us because they wanted to know about the word “KAKKYU” (hiatus).
Takeru: So we said if we are going to take a break, let us call it “KAKKYU”.
Masato: It was a good thing, if people tune into us.
Takeru: There’s no sense in just taking a break, so I’m glad the word became a topic too.
Shinpei: What if there are more bands in the future that say, “Let’s take a “KAKKYU” (laughs).
Chiyu: “KAKKYU” business? (all laugh)
――What are your goals now?
Chiyu: We want to aim for Nippon Budokan.
Takeru: Before that though, we haven’t found a venue for our autumn concert yet (all laugh).

Chiyu: We made it back! We’ve come back as a cooler band, so we’d like for you to see us, even if it’s just once.
Yuji: Come to our concerts! We’re going to put on a lot of concerts this year, so please come.

Takeru: We put out a great music video, great photos, and a great single. Now is the best time to learn about SuG! Don’t stop there. Come to our shows!
Shinpei: We promised our fans that we’d come back stronger than before. We accomplished that, so we want you to hear our new music.
