Big Bang (Korean: 빅뱅, Japanese: ビッグバン), commonly stylized as BIGBANG, is a South Korean hip-hop boyband. The group first gained recognition when their formation was documented on television, titled the Big Bang Documentary, from July to August 2006. The show was also aired online on GomTV and on MTV Korea.[1] Initially a six-member group, one member dropped out during the airing of the show before the official debut,[2] leading to their current line-up of G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri.
Signed to YG Entertainment, Big Bang went on to release a string of modestly successful singles and EPs. They broke into the mainstream with the release of the EP Always (2007), which spawned the number-one single "Lies" (Korean: 거짓말; romanized: Geojitmal). Their follow-up EP Hot Issue and Stand Up cemented their status as one of the reigning hip-hop groups in South Korea.[3] After being crowned "Artist of the Year" from the M.net KM Music Festival and the Seoul Gayo Daesang Award, the group expanded their activities into Japan, releasing several mini-albums and airplay singles. Nonetheless, their materials would not receive proper promotions until the following year with the release of their first physical Japanese single "My Heaven."
By the end of 2009, Big Bang became the most searched artist in South Korea.[4] They also became the first foreign group in Japan to receive the Japan Cable Broadcasting Award for "Best Newcomer" and the first from Korea to receive the Japan Records honor.[5] In recent years, the members have branched out to do solo activities: Taeyang and G-Dragon released solo materials while T.O.P, Daesung, and Seungri started acting.

si intr-o seara,cand ascultam radio-ul kpop romania, a difuzat piesa...
bai,mi-a placut, sa stiti! cand ma uit,sa vad cum se numeste, am vazut mare "haru haru"
apoi ma gandeam...ma! unde am auzit eu de melodia asta?!
apoi am cautat pe youtube si mi-am dat seama ca ma jurasem ca nu o voi asculta..
si ce a urmat e simplu de ghicit: am ascultat-o vreo saptamana in continuu!
si acum imi place la nebunie!

si eu auzisem de melodie, numai ca nu eram interesata sa o ascult...
si apoi vine Kasumi acasa la sfarsitul saptamanii si o pune sa o asculte, iar eu cum eram prin preajma am auzit-o. întâia oara nu mi-a placut asa de mult, dar dupa inca de vreo doua ori ascultand-o, evident ca a inceput sa-mi placa

Big Bang tops Top Mundi MTV Brazil with "Love Song"
"Top Mundi," a show from the Brazil's MTV, has gained a lot of love from Kpop fans due to the show giving Kpop a special limelight every week on the show. In May, it was reported that TVXQ's "Why (Keep Your Head Down)" was named 2nd most popular music video after Swedish pop duo, Roxette, with "She’s Got Nothing On."
On May 27th, the show introduced Big Bang's "Love Song" as that week's top music video. The VJ of the show mentioned that Big Bang currently have a excepțional global event in which it allows fans to vote on which country the group will visit next. In addition, the VJ at the time mentions that Peru is currently in the lead compared to Brazil, who is in 2nd place for Division 1 "America," and therefore encourages viewers to vote for Brazil to bring Big Bang to the country.
In Division 2 "Europe," France is in the lead with 81074 fans and Germany with 81074. In the 3rd Division "Asia," Thailand leads with 28176 with Taiwan with 9678 fans.

Dupa cateva luni in care si-au promovat albumul, membrii BigBang, GD si TOP au lansat si un MV pentru hitul „Don’t Go Home”.

Big Bang’s Daesung receives a verdict of ‘Not Guilty’
Big Bang’s Daesung has finally concluded his court case regarding his car accident on May 31st with a verdict of ‘not guilty’.
After reviewing the case, prosecutors decided that there wasn’t enough hard evidence to determine whether or not the motorcyclist Hyun had been alive or deceased before Daesung ran him over with his vehicle. Also, they did not rule out the possibility that the motorcyclist, who was under the influence upon the time of his death, could’ve died from the initial collision with a streetlight.
“Although it should be recognized that Daesung drove without maintaining a safe distance and ignoring his surroundings, it is hard to make the connection between this fact and the death of the victim,” stated a representative for the police. “We made a judgment of not guilty based on the principle of ‘innocent until proven guilty’.”
Based on the above information, they rendered a verdict of ‘not guilty’ for the beleaguered Daesung. “Since Daesung reached a civil settlement with the victim’s party on July 19th, you can say that this case is now closed,” said the police.

Daesung de intoarce pentru ‘Big Show 2012′?
Membrul Big Bang, Daesung este foarte probabil sa se intoarca in Februarie 2012.
Daesung a fost fortat sa paraseasca toate evenimentele pentru restul anului din cauza scandalului care a implicat moartea unui motociclist. In luna mai a acestui an, Daesung a lovit un motociclist pe strada, care anterior fusese lovit si inconstient pe sosea. Investigatiile au durat luni, dar Daesung a fost gasit nevinovat pentru moartea motociclistului. Din aceasta cauza, sunt mari sanse ca Daesung sa se intoarca mai devreme decat era asteptat.
Aproape in fiecare an, Big Bang tin concertul “Big Show” in februarie, si se zvoneste ca Daesung va reveni prin intermediul acestui eveniment.
Presedintele YG Entertainment ,Yang Hyun Suk a afrimat “Inca suntem foarte grijuluii in privinta revenirii lui Daesung in industrie; momentan, Daesung nu are niciun fel de activitati promotionale. Vom incerca sa-l aducem inapoi, dar mai degraba decat printr-o emisiune televizata, cred ca un concert unde fanii pot sa-l vada de aproape, in persoana, ar fi mai bine.”
Iar in concluzie :”Desigur ca nici macar n-am confirmat ca vom tine urmatorul ‘Big Show’ in februarie.”
Momentan, Daesung este implicat in actiunile bisericii si face mici servicii cominitatii in timp ce profita de aceata perioada pentru a reflecta.

On September 10th, YG Entertainment announced that an additional concert date had been added as a finale concert for their ‘Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 in Japan‘. Following their concerts to be held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka (November 23rd and 24th) and at the Tokyo Dome (December 5th), the ‘Special Final in Dome‘ concert will be held at the Yahoo! Japan Dome in Fukuoka on December 22nd.
Earlier this year, Big Bang held their Japanese concert tour in May and June hitting up 5 cities with 13 concerts. With the addition of their remaining concerts in 2012, Big Bang will have performed for 355,000 audience members in Japan.
YG Entertainment stated to allkpop that originally 150,000 tickets were prepared for their concert tour earlier this year, but over 1,000,000 ticket requests were received. Big Bang’s Dome tour was created as an expression of gratitude for the endless requests made by fans who were unable to attend their concerts. However, as their Dome tour became yet another hit in ticket sales, the Fukuoka stop has been added to the tour.
Meanwhile, Big Bang plans to continue their ‘Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012‘ world tour in Singapore on September 28th. |
